Socialism is great in theory, but
it always seems to degenerate into a
communist state wherein power is
in the hands of a few again. The u.s.
has been the economic engine of the world for a long time. The Chinese
moving forward is a social experiment. The regulations on business are more lax ,in environmental
terms, Labor rights& exploitation tales are rampant.
Yes economic exploittion of Americans is very bad. There is no absolute proof of a better system. I am satisfied with the viability of capitalism
tinged with a bit of socialism as with
LBJ’s great society programs,
Davis-Bacon Laws etc.

Our leaders are owned by big business and that combined with money thrown at the fears of the uneducated makes for a struggling middle class. Look at Joe the plumber who was championed by the republican leaders. Everybody remembers Joe’s story. Joe owed back taxes, a plumber without a plumbers license, and was convinced he was going to fall into the over $250,000 tax bracket.

Obama is pushing a slow brewed single-payer-system regarding HC.Obama said and I quote
” If I were designing a system from scratch,I’d set up a single payer system [but] making that transition in a rapid way , I think would be very difficult.” He also said they needed the 3 branches of government to achieve this takeover, HEY! they are taking over our healthcare system!
We The People… get what we deserve if we don’t fight this monstrousity, we are losing our liberties very fast. Truly.
When the right wing took to the streets protesting the presidents Health Care ideas. We lost our chance to scoop up all the morons.
Health Care should not be for profit, but these idiots would rather give their money to insurance companies, that make billions of dollars off of our illnesses. And you people that keep yelling about socialism go get an education.

Bill Moyers is an American Hero. He has historically interviewed some of the most influential people of our time, Joseph Campbell, The Dalai Lama and many others. He is a theologian and a Christian. He seems to be a true conservative. So please listen to him those of you who are so opposed to a single payer system as something “Communist.” We are the only civilized nation without healthcare for all. GO to france, break your leg ,and then tell me what you think.
When I hear or read about Congress’ new massive bureaucracy and the tax increases for government run socialized healthcare I shake my head and say.

Bill Moyers = a voice of reason. Here’s an idea – let’s stop all the wars in the Middle East. Just a FRACTION of that money would give us this other option to private insurance which many people so deparately need.
