Top Three Gadgets For Going On Holiday

In the UK we hugely look forward to going on holiday, whether it’s in Britian or abroad, it’s the one time of year we all look forward to. However going on holiday, particularly if you have kids, can turn out to be an extremely stressful experience.

Getting charged unexpectedly, lost luggage, not being able to use the electricity, theft, etc. can all have a hugely negative impact should they happen to you while on holiday.
Luckily however, there are several gadgets available to buy online that can have a big impact on reducing the stress levels associated with airports, flying and holidays in general.

First on the list is an extremely useful little toy, the Trace Me Luggage Tag. According to recent statistics, between 35 and 40 million pieces of luggage we lost worldwide in the last year alone. The Trace Me Tracker consists of a durable tag that easily and securely fastens to your suitcase, containing a unique serial number and barcode. Should you lose your luggage, the local handling staff will be able to use the barcode or serial number on the immobile.com website to find out who it belongs to. Once your luggage goes into the system, you’ll recieve either a text or email (or both) telling you where your bag is, so that you can call the airport.

The next gadget we’re going to look at is the Ergo Digital Luggage Scale, which (as you’ve might have figured out) allows you to weigh your baggage before you set off. This allows you to prevent any expensive excess baggage charges when you get to the airport. It’s not only easy to use and extremely portable, but at only £19.99 from most online retailers, it could pay for itself within one trip. Just ensure you pack it when you leave the country, you’ll probably want to use it on the way back! Great if you’re looking for gifts for men that don’t like to overspend – so basically it’s a great toy for keeping dads from complaining!

Last on the list is the extremely versatile Travel Adaptor, which will set you back between £15 and £20. You’ve more than likely already used a similar sort of adaptor in the past, but it’s unlikely you’ll have used on as versatile and (forgive the pun) adaptable as this. The adaptor lets you plug in to any power socket in the UK, US or EU. It even has a dedicated USB port, which will let you power USB (and USB 2.0) wherever you happen to be. Not only will all your vital gadgets work, but the plug even features two separate fuses, protecting your electrical items and toys should you experience a power surge or similar.

Who Do Luxury Cruises Target?

The latest research done by few cruise line companies in the UK shows that people over 40 like going on luxury cruises than any one else. Seems like all of M4 corridor likes going on cruises. I am just kidding. This research started two years ago in June, they wanted to see if the audience will change in that period of time. They have been able to figure out their target market from this research.

In those two years they have had 80% of people who were the age of 40 going on a cruise. Remaining 20% were children and people under 40. From that 20% there were only 0.25% of people who were in the age circle of 20 to 30, not surprising really. At that age people are at University and after that they racing to get a good job and trying to make it big in the World. This is certainly the time period when we decided to do something with our lives and also at this age we look to make money and not spend. After University most of us are on debt from student accounts and also student loans that we borrow.

Normally people over 40 have a good job with good earning and they have had few years to save some money. As you build up experience the salary goes up and you climb up the career ladder. The research was very interest, which was done by msc cruises and windstar cruises , to figure out their target market.

I work in a travel industry so this knowledge is great for me. Now I know what age like going to luxury cruises and what age like going to short trips. Hope this post was useful for you too.
