Five Major Types Of Travellers

Nowadays travelling is the most terrific thing ever invented by humanity. Not only does travelling “regulate imagination by reality”, but it also gives us the sense of living inviting to pleasure of sharing the world with billions of other nations. No doubt, it is in human nature to travel; yet, in this fast moving world a new race of couch potatoes impregnated into the universe of their houses is developing. Those who have their hearts open to everything new like their ancient counterparts do love to travel. Indeed, modern travellers fall into different types, each of which has their own needs, wishes and preferences. The understanding of what kind of traveller the person is can give a travel manager the possibility to offer exactly what the person may want. Let us discuss some of the most common groups.

The first type of the most common traveller is the loafer who prefers travel and vacation packages which will include everything from spa procedures, flights to excursions. These travellers prefer to spend their holidays on the beaches or in some glamourous districts of capitals. They will go on a spending spree on their holidays only for the sake of relaxation and the luxurious flavor of life. The best offer to such a person will be a four or five star hotel with all-inclusive program. These travellers are leisurely and happy with their life, often dressed in expensive clothes.

The second type of the traveller may be called an extreme person. Such men and women prefer extreme sports. They as a rule select some time of the year for their travelling which will suit their need to quench their thirst for adrenalin. Surely, they would like to go anywhere, where they can descend from some extreme point, look into the eyes of danger, dive into the deepest ocean and so on. These travellers are handsome, sportive and quite romantic looking.

The third type is the backpacker. This person will choose the spots he or she can get to on foot. No doubt, hiking or camping tour would suit this person perfectly. For some reason, these people mostly do not pay attention to how they look and they always look as if they are ready to go anywhere this very second.

Next type of travellers is known as pilgrims. These can be the people who go to see some sacred place or cherished object, or simply travel to visit their relatives. They are all connected by one common feature, they have a sacred task. These travellers usually look quite sure about the place they wish to visit and the aim of their trip.

And one more type to be discussed here is women travellers. Surely, we are not trying to sound offensive here. Anyhow, there is a cast of travellers that may consist of a single lady or a group of single ladies who will come to travel manager with a demand to take them somewhere. These travellers are rather tough to please and they often turn quite displeased with even the most wonderful tour in the world.

At Jackson Hole Wyoming we know what the individual approach to each traveller is and how to please the most demanding traveller.

Application Of Feng Shui In Touring

To tell the truth, Feng Shui is the oriental teaching that attempts to unite the heavenly with the earthly to create a certain domain of positive energy around the person. The teaching arise from China and is mostly used for planning of one’s living and business areas in such a way as to tempt the positive qi to the being of the individual. The practice is extremely in great request in modern Europe and Americas and lots of pieces of advice may be found in the Internet. To crown it all, Feng Shui also touches on travelling experience and if applied wisely can lead to favorable trip.

Indeed, people who travelled with Feng Shui mentioned that they seemed to enjoy the travel much more, were full of energy to fulfill their tasks and came back relaxed. Let us talk about some of the Feng Shui recommendations if you wish to make a voyage.

Just remember that you should start your travelling with Feng Shui with determining from what place you are about to start. In this case you have to look for the direction from the side of the place you go to. For instance, if you live in Spain but travel to Ireland, looking from Ireland, you will be coming from South-West side. As all people fall into two classes, the direction selected may either be positive or not. To determine this you need to figure out the Kua number. This is easily done in the following manner:
You need to add the last two characters of the year you were born in. For instance, if you were born on 16 May 1988, you make a sum of 8+8=16. If the amount you get is bigger than ten, add those two numbers together, e.g. 1+6=7. Now males need to subtract the sumtotal you have got from 10, e.g.: 10-7=3; and women should add 5, e.g.: 7+5=12. For women, if you get a number that is bigger than 10, sum the characters, e.g.: 1+2=3. Threfore, in our example, the Kua number for both men and females is 3.

East group of people will have the Kua number as 1, 3, 4, 9; and West people will have 2, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Consequently, if you are an East person with Kua number 3, and you are voyaging from Portugal to Britain, you have to wait for luck from the north and financial aid from the south. So make sure you have your meetings south-facing if you wait for money or north-facing if you need luck.

What’s more, you have to do some common rituals depending on where you go to. For example, if you travel in southern direction, have a glass of water and wash your hands before you go out of the house. If you are travelling northward, throw some dirt into the way of the north before you leave. If you are travelling to the East, ring a bell seven times in the direction of the east, and if you are going westward, point a lit candle into this direction. All these rituals engage into a good trip and success in your journeying experience.

Though we do not exercise Feng Shui practices in our work, at Jackson Hole Wyoming we do attempt to make your travel a successful and comfortable one.
