Help Keep Your Kids Visible On Their Bikes With This Little Present

Cycling is one of the most popular past times in the UK, especially amongst children. Because of that, bicycle safety has become a paramount concern amongst parents all over the country.
We already make our kids wear safety helmets and they should also be wearing reflective clothing, although as it’s often seen as ‘uncool’ it can be hard to get children to wear them.

So how about giving your children a gift that they’ll not only consider ‘cool’, but will improve the level of safety when the children are out on their bikes? Well, with the new Bike SpokeLit, that’s now a possibility.

These little gadgets clip to the spokes of any bike, lighting up the wheels as they turn. The lights can be set to an intermittent flashing light, or set to constantly turned on. If you have the light on all the time, you’ll see that it produces an extremely cool ‘ring of light’ effect, which will keep your kids occupied whilst secretly making them more visible to traffic and passers-by.

The lights’ batteries don’t run out for a long time, meaning you won’t be worrying about them dying while your children are out and about. Setting up the lights is very simple, as they just clip onto the spokes, so you can let your kids put them on themselves.

They’re suitable for boys or girls, meaning you can still buy them if you’re looking for gifts for girls. The lights come in three colours; red, blue or green, meaning you’re covered whether your kid supports Liverpool or Manchester City.

Let’s face it, being safe is uncool to children, so being able to give them something that helps keep them safe without them really knowing seems ideal. Simply wait for a birthday or Christmas, and slip the lights in with their other toys and you can be sure the Bike SpokeLit will be attached to their bike before the end of the day.

So don’t spend your time fretting whenever your kids are out and about on their bikes, just get them a couple of these and relax knowing that they can be seen by road users wherever they are.
