Fruits Make You Fat
Just the statement alone is ridiculous. I mean, just read it a few times and you’ll see just how silly it really is. Fruits make you fat…lol. The reason some people make this claim is that fruits contain a sugar called fructose. Many claim that fructose can promote fat gain. That is simply not true. What fructose does is that it keeps the liver full (which keeps you feeling full) and replaces fat molecules within the liver and so that replaced fat is released into the bloodstream. Fruits don’t make you fat; eating too many calories from junk food makes you fat. Fruits on the other hand:
• On average contain less than 100 calories per serving
• Have no fat
• Are packed with vitamins and minerals
• Contain phytochemicals that have been shown to improve overall health, fight cancer, and aid in weight loss
• Contain fiber that helps keep you feeling satiated, keep your digestive system stay healthy and regular, lower blood pressure, and improve cardiovascular function
Eating Carbs at Night Makes You Fat
Again, eating more calories than you burn makes you fat, not carbohydrates. The reason many people feel that eating carbohydrates makes them fat is that carbohydrates absorb water. Just think of a piece of toast soaked in milk or water; it bloats and gets bigger and heavier. That piece of toast will do exactly the same thing inside our bodies; it will absorb water and expand making it look like we’re gaining weight. The truth is carbohydrates before sleep can be beneficial because they increase levels of serotonin; a brain chemical that helps us falls asleep and feel happy. Also, carbohydrates help maintain our muscles from being broken down while we sleep.
Whole Eggs are Bad for You
Many bodybuilders ditch the egg yolks and only eat the egg whites and many normal people avoid eggs all together from fearing high cholesterol or weight gain. The truth is the yolk of the egg is the most nourishing part. It contains high levels of beneficial fats and good cholesterol, half the protein, and all of the egg’s vitamins A, E and D. The beneficial fats and the good cholesterol in eggs will not contribute to your body’s cholesterol levels as much as your genetics or as much as eating lots of saturated fats and trans-fats. Recent studies have even shown that eating eggs for breakfast boosts the body’s metabolism and helps you burn more calories and lose more fat. The bottom line is that eggs are extremely good for you, eat them.
Milk Makes You Fat
This is getting old isn’t it? Unless you have lactose intolerance or severe gas and bloating due to drinking milk, then you should be drinking your milk. Milk contains more calcium than any other food source. Did you know that people who increase their calcium intake lose up to 50% more weight than people who don’t get enough calcium? Milk is also full of valuable proteins in the form of whey and casein which help preserve muscle and keep you full throughout the day.
Nothing annoys me more than when someone asks me something like “will this make me fat?” It doesn’t matter what the food is, nothing on its own makes you fat. Too many calories from unhealthy food choices make you fat. Please always keep this fact in mind when trying to change the way you eat. So many people fall into the trap of cutting out foods they like because “it makes them fat.” As humans we are programmed to want what we can’t or should not have. Therefore, as soon as you tell yourself that you can’t have something, you will only want it more. Eat whole, unprocessed foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, eggs and dairy, healthy fats like olive and fish oil and you will not go wrong.

There are crucial events in one’s life that somehow urges people to verify that bathroom weighing scale more often than usual. There are the traditional reunion occasions like Christmas, Anniversaries, Weddings and, don’t forget, swimwear summertime. And then, there are the medical nuances like hypertension, high blood pressure, diabetes … and the list goes on and on. Losing rid of weight is a very general concern of many people. And, like any contemporary day citizen, an overnight miracle is preferred.
Of course, there are no miracles, sorry to say. But, a great network of clever medical experts recognized the need to aide, especially obese people, by developing a supplement helping faster weight loss. To many who have experienced positive results, these supplements are called magic pills more properly referred to as diet and weight loss pills such as hoodia pills.
There are a lot of benefits to the intake of diet pills:
1. First and foremost is convenience.
Diet Pills is undeniably an attractive alternative to the sweaty trip to the gym, performing exhausting cycles and aerobic rhythms. Not only do you experience tired and aching muscles as a result of the workout regimen, but it also demands a consierable portion of your daily and weekly schedules. Out fast-paced environment nowadays offers very little extra time to dedicate to these “at least three times a week” rituals.
Although adequate exercise is still required to keep those muscles toned, with diet and weight loss pills, frequency and intensity of workouts will be less needed. The basic requirement of 10,000 steps daily, though sometimes overwhelming when first heard about, is not really a biggie. Just take the stairs when you can, park farther from the door than usual and so on.
2. Other pluses that can be credited to diet pills
Apart from the convenience factor, there are other pluses that can be credited to diet and weight loss pills. Depending on the particular type of pill, benefits such as lowered calorie intake, fat burning, appetite suppression and metabolic rate increases will be gained.
Lowered calorie intake is the primary benefit gained from diet pills called carb blockers. As food is ingested, carb blockers inhibit the breakdown of carbohydrates into sugar. Meaning, the carbohydrates are not readily absorbed by the body and cannot supply calories to your body. This results to lowered carbohydrate calorie-intake that consequently reduces fat storage. Less fat storage, leads to weight loss.
Fat Burners, on the other hand, raise the body temperature to burn more calories. Furthermore, the release of fat tissue into the blood stream, allowing body fat to be broken down and used as energy, is another accomplishment of another type of diet pill.
3. Diet and weight loss pills can also influence your basic urge to eat
Appetite suppressants can trick your mind into thinking you are full, directly resulting to reduced food intake. By doing so, your body resorts to using stored calorie sources (fat).
