Any Information On GMH? Here’s More…

GMH

The initials “GMH” are presently being utilized by a few internet companies. The most recognized is “Gives Me Hope”, a site where anyone can share with the world, those moments in their lives that give them hope. In the spirit of the site, here are a few physicians who GMH:

Dr. Mehmet Oz gives me hope. If you don’t know him , he started appearing regularly on Oprah’s show some years back, introducing the world to medicine in a new, interesting way. He recently started his own hour-long show, which airs at 3pm Pacific time Monday through Friday. (Compliments of “Ms. O”, same as Dr. Phil.)

Cleverly appearing as a medical doctor, he treats the body and gives advice as a naturopath would. Without fail, the viewers can learn at least one bit of solid information, every show, that can significantly improve their various conditions. He’s so goofy about it, too, which helps with retaining the valuable tidbits.

He makes up these visual displays almost every show, that demonstrate the exact function of say, a blood vessel bursting in a head – fake blood and all. The audience loves it, and absolutely gets the message. Dr. Oz GMH every day.

Another doctor who has recently climbed my list of “Most Noble”, and who GMH in a big way, is CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta. His double duty as a surgeon and reporter in a hellhole such as Haiti is beyond the call of duty.

I can hardly believe his compassion, and ability to function at the top of his game under such extremes. I was also happy to see his genuine anger at the lack of cooperation in receiving medical supplies. The other doctors were ordered to leave, yet he stayed with the patients all night , doing whatever was in his power. Dr. Gupta, you GMH.

Last, but certainly not least, is Dr. Mark Hymen. You may know him from the specials aired regularly on PBS. Since his approach to wellness is primarily holistic, I was astonished to see him and his wife performing amputations in Haiti.

He wasn’t holding back. Where the news stations were carefully concealing the most hideous images – bodies being moved by bulldozers and discarded into huge dumpsters – he made sure the cameraman showed the truth. He also reported that amputations were being performed with rusty hacksaws with no pain killer. He was thrilled to receive a bottle of vodka to use as pain killer and sterilizer.

I didn’t see him after that episode, perhaps he too honest and is no longer getting air-time. Nevertheless, the fact that he was down in the trenches of Haiti, doing what most never could, GMH.

In this ridiculous world heavy-laden with every problem imaginable, these bright lights GMH.

How To Find The Best Private Student Loans Consolidation

Unless you come from a family that is very well off or come from a poorer family that is allowed government financial aid you will need student loans to achieve a college education. Once you graduate you may have be concerned about how you will be able to afford to pay back these debts as you may not instantly find a job that gives a large salary. To solve this problem many graduates search for private student loans consolidation. This is often the best means of managing and controlling your repayments and lessens the stress involved.

There are a number of strategies possible to help with this possibly confusing financial transaction -

1. The first step that needs to be taken is to check your current credit rating. Any loan consolidator will require information about your current credit status before they can offer you a package. It is straightforward to find your current rating; there are many companies operating online that offer this service free of cost.

2. When you have your latest credit score it can help to compare this to your score at the time when the student loans were first taken. If you find that it has considerably improved then you can use this information to ask for lower interest payments as you will have evidence that you are financially responsible.

3. It is good to find out the various terms and conditions from as many lenders as possible. Some may offer an extended agreement with payment being made over the course of a thirty year period. This can result in smaller payments being required on a monthly basis.

4. It is possible to get a relative to be a co-signatory on any loan consolidation. If they have an excellent credit rating this can dramatically improve the terms and conditions. Obviously this would be a huge favor from them and they should be aware that they are liable if you default.

5. It is always better to find a private student loans consolidator that does not charge a penalty for pre payment. If you can find such a firm it will be beneficial as if you come into money at an earlier stage you can make larger payments to clear your debts.

6. If you have considered joining the military after you finish college, then you are allowed a 36 month deferment on any private student loans consolidation.
