A sandcastle theme wedding is magical and romantic, particularly on the beach when you include a genuine sandcastle. How picturesque! You can even incorporate Cinderella and Prince Charming into this theme if you sought to. A question that gets asked about rather a lot, by Cake Decorator is how to produce the Sand Castle topper on page 424 inside the 2010 Bakery Craft directory. Beneath are the instructions regarding how to make this welcome addition to the beach-inspired marriage ceremony cake!
The equipment you’ll need are:
GP-CASTLE8 Styrofoam Fairy Castle
Thinned down ivory royal frosting (PL-5628 Ivory Gel Paste)
Paint brush
SS-4-W Crystal Sugar
AB-5115 Harvest Brown air brush
AB-5104 Yellow airbrush
AB-5103 Orange airbrush
AB-5150 Pearl airbrush
With the paint brush, paint the castle in sections using the royal frosting.
Following painting each section, without delay press the crystal sugar into the royal frosting. Once your castle is totally sheltered with sugar, airbrush the complete castle lightly using the brown, yellow, and orange air brush colors. Begin using the brown first, then yellow and orange to make it the color of sand. Once you attain your desired color, air brush the castle with pearl. Let the castle dry a few minutes prior to placing it on the cake.
The Castle may be airbrushed to include beautiful detail and accentuate your cake decoration. The castle is created of lightweight Styrofoam. The size are 13 ½” high by 7″ width. It’s a great alternative you can offer brides who are looking for something different for their summer time or vacation spot wedding.
Whether or not it is an informal event, have a sandcastle building contest! This can be a great way to occupy the children if you are having a wedding reception at the beach. Provide pails plus shovels as favors for your guests.
