For example, imagine a man is walking the sidewalks of city and giving away roses to women. So, he was trying to give away roses, but just few women took his roses. The tradesmen catch new consumers with a propose of a free stuff which the clients believe has some value and therefore they can exchange their time and contact information in order to get the free stuff. The customer receives the free product and the tradesman gets contact information of that customer. “Free” is used as a motivator.
